George Soros
It would seem that globalist birds of a feather really do flock together. According to an 8/23/16 article in Life Site News, “Leaked emails through Wikileaks reveal that billionaire globalist George Soros – one of Hilary (sic) Clinton’s top donors – paid $650,000 to influence Pope Francis’ September 2015 visit to the USA with a view to “shift[ing] national paradigms and priorities in the run-up to the 2016 presidential campaign’ ”
As the Saturday Night Live Church Lady used to say, “Isn’t that special?” Here you have Jorge Bergoglio (DBA Francis I), current occupant of the Office of Antichrist, receiving tithes and offerings – one supposes “bribes” would be a better word – from George Soros to push the sort of policies he was already pushing to begin with.
If the leaked report is authentic, and it seems consistent with Soros’ other political ventures, the 2015 review of the U.S. Opportunities Fund (USOF), an organization affiliated with Soros, indicated that the group was quite pleased with its efforts, the results being, “even greater than anticipated.”
Life Site reports that USOF did its work by contributing money to two organizations, “PICO, a faith-based community organizing group, and Faith in Public Life (FPL), a progressive group working in media to promote left-leaning ‘social justice’ causes”
As you might expect from the Social Justice Warrior (SJW) crowd, FPD is fond of Scripture twisting. On its website, the group states,
In the Bible, the prophets harshly condemned depriving workers of fair pay for their labor. When highly profitable fast food chains are paying poverty wages and stealing from workers, this teaching is as relevant now as it was in biblical times.
Now while the Bible condemns those who withhold wages from their workers, it says nothing about “fair” wages, at least as determined by some arbitrary standard. Based on Jesus parable of the workers in the vineyard, the prophetic condemnation applies to businessmen who withhold, not whatever the wages worker thinks is fair, but the wages that were agreed upon by both the owner and the worker prior to the work.
In the parable when one of the workers complained about his wages, the owner of the vineyard told him, “Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? Take what is your and go your way.” Jesus called for justice, not unbiblical Social Justice.
The USOF report went on to tout the efficacy of PICO’s work in Minnesota where, “nineteen parishes in key swing legislative districts are now poised to support state legislative campaigns to win driver’s licenses for immigrants, regulate payday lenders, and advance statewide paid family leave.”
The Life Site story also indicates that Soros’ planned to gain the support of Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga. Life Site reports that according to the May 2015 Board Minutes of Soro’s Open Society Foundation, the group stated,
we will support PICO’s organizing activities to engage the Pope on economic and racial justice issues, including using the influence of Cardinal Rodriguez, the Pope’s senior advisor, and sending a delegation to visit the Vatican in the spring or summer to allow him to hear directly from low-income Catholics in America.
One could go on, what we’ve looked at so far seems pretty representative of the sort of skullduggery practiced by globalists of every stripe, but especially by Antichrist with Soros not far behind. It’s certainly not surprising to see them plotting together to rip off American citizens.
It would be nice to see then end of the bribery and influence peddling that is so common among Antichrist and his satellites. And someday it will end. But likely that won’t be for a while. If nothing, else, the Life Site story once again demonstrates that we all live under a constant bombardment of evil propaganda. As such, when thinking about the news of the day, Christians would do well to keep in mind the words of Jesus, “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” Antichrist may still do his work, but at least we won’t be ignorant of his devices.
