Well, that was brutal. The mid-term elections, I mean.
I don’t like it. It’s not going to be good for the country. But I can’t say it wasn’t deserved. The Republicans, Donald Trump in particular, but the party as a whole also, got what they richly deserved. I don’t feel sorry for them.
Donald Trump, the man who put together a truly impressive coalition under the banner of MAGA, spent the last two years pushing for MIGA, Make Israel Great Again. Far from being America First, his administration has clearly been all about Israel First. The proof is the war on Iran, a strategic disaster for America fought on behalf of Israel, the effects of which the country is just now starting to feel.
Then there’s the whole Epstein thing. Jeffrey Epstein himself was closely tied to Israel and most likely was running what’s known as a honeypot operation on behalf of Israel to obtain compromat on American politicians. Donald Trump promised to release the files on the 2024 campaign trail, and his supporters believed him.
But once in office, Trump did, and continues to do, everything in his power to keep them from being released in full. The only reason we have what we have is due to the heroic efforts of Thomas Massie and a few other members of the House.
And what did Thomas Massie get for his trouble? He had the full wrath of Trump and his billionaire, Israel-first, Jewish Zionist donors poured out on him. Massie was ousted in the May primaries not only for the “crime” of passing a bill requiring the release of all the Epstein files, but also for defending free speech, limited government, and putting America first and not Israel. Even after spending a record amount of money to oust Massie in the primary, the establishment likely had to rig the election to ensure Massie was defeated.
In the end, it was the Lord’s will that things turned out as they did. And by his grace, his people will move forward from here.
It seems like America is headed for some difficult times. Let those of us who love the Lord pray for our nation.
