But despite her history of unpopularity, we’re supposed to believe the polls that she’s right there with Donald Trump, who, love him or hate him, has become an iconic figure in American politics, one who is charismatic and at ease with the public in a way that Harris never has been.
Color me skeptical that Harris is in a place to win the election, at least legitimately.
Over the past several months, Paul Craig Roberts has written several articles about rigged polling and how the Democrats/Deep States use rigged polls to position the pre-selected candidate as leading in the polls to make the eventual rigged election more believable. According to Roberts,
I have repeatedly warned that rigged polls are turning Kamala into the leading candidate in order that the theft mechanisms Democrats have in place can be used to steal the election. After the suspicions raised by the 2020 and 2022 elections, it is risky for the establishment to present a candidate trailing in the polls as the winner of the election. Therefore, the pre-selected winner is positioned as the leading candidate so that there is no controversy when the pre-selected winner “wins” the election.[2]
Roberts cites an article that raises questions about the polling that argues the polls are deliberately oversampling Democrat voters,
“So what they’re doing is they’re polling fewer Republicans. They’re polling a disproportionate number of Biden 2020 voters in these states that were dead even,” pollster John McLaughlin said this week on the “Just the News, No Noise” television show.
“They’re saying the Biden 2020 voters should be four or five points higher. It’s ridiculous. So what they’re doing is they’re trying to pump Harris up. They’re trying to suppress our vote. And this is, you know, there’s smart people doing this, so I think it’s intentional.”[3]
Late Democrat pollster Pat Caddell complained about similar poll rigging during the 2016 presidential election.[4]
According to Martin Armstrong,[5] Harris’ actual poll numbers are about 8%.
Trump’s Roman Catholic Flavored Campaign
In 2016, I became interested in Donald Trump when he took the unprecedented step of criticizing Pope Francis. Francis had criticized Trump for his campaign promise to build the wall, and Trump fired right back at the pope. Until that time, I had never personally witnessed an American politician or candidate for any office publicly criticize the pope.
In 2024, the Trump campaign is obviously courting Roman Catholic voters. On at least 3 occasions, Trump has published pro-Catholic posts on X.
- On 11/01/2024, Trump posted “Wishing everyone a Blessed and Happy All Saint’s Day” with what appears to be an image of a Roman Catholic painting showing, among other things, an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.[6]
- On 09/08/2024, Trump posted, “Happy Birthday Mary!” accompanied by an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.[7]
- On 07/27/2024, Trump posted, “More than 5,000 Catholics walked down the streets of New York City praying and singing for peace. Do you support this?” The post had a thirty-second video of a Catholic procession with priests and nuns dressed in their distinctive attire.[8]
Further, Trump’s VP pick, JD Vance, is himself a late convert to Roman Catholicism. Vance, who became Roman Catholic in 2019, indicated that his Catholic faith informs his politics. In an interview in the American Conservative, Vance, responding to the question, “To what extent do you expect your Catholic faith to guide your views on public policy?” said,
My views on public policy and what the optimal state should look like are pretty aligned with Catholic social teaching. That was one of the things that drew me to the Catholic Church. I saw a real overlap between what I would like to see and what the Catholic Church would like to see.[9]
If Donald Trump wins, J.D. Vance almost certainly will be the odds-on favorite to win the 2028 Republican presidential nomination. Even if Trump doesn’t win, barring something unforeseen, Vance will be a top contender for the GOP nomination in the next election cycle.
Rome has its man well-positioned to take control of the GOP.
The Israel Lobby
In 2006, John Robbins wrote,
Agents of both Israel and Rome are active in the United States, both gathering intelligence and influencing policy. The U. S. government is manipulated by foreign interests. Both Israel and the Vatican see the United States as their proxy in this religious war.[10]
We’ve already talked about Rome’s influence on the Trump campaign, but what about the Israel lobby?
Based on his first term in office and his words and actions in 2024, it is fair to say that Donald Trump is a committed Zionist. Zionism has been one of the most poisonous political movements in America for decades, having done enormous damage to the United States. As such, this is a serious concern. In a recent interview, economist Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University commented,
[Benjamin] Netanyahu has done more damage to the United States than just about any person on this planet. And he’s done it repeatedly because his idea has been engage the US military in Israel’s Wars, so that Israel doesn’t have to face up to the basic fact that there should be a state of Palestine alongside the state of Israel. So, Netanyahu has, we’ve come to understand better and better looking back at it, was the chief promoter of the disastrous war in Iraq, and we paid the price, we Americans – trillions of dollars. And he still gets away with it because that’s the Israel Lobby.[11]
With Republican candidates, sometimes it’s hard to tell whether they’re running for President of Israel or President of the United States. For example, Trump was quoted as saying in a speech,
Israel is one of the greatest, if not perhaps the single greatest nation on earth…I am the best friend of the Jews, and I will spend my entire Presidency defending and protecting the State of Israel….[12]
So much for America First.
The Israel Lobby is a bi-partisan affair. But interestingly, perhaps in part because the Democrats are not in thrall to the Evangelical Christian Zionists and have a sizeable Muslim base in the critical swing state of Michigan, Kamala Harris’s statements of support for Israel have been less verbose than those of Donald Trump.
Will People Accept the Election Results?
There’s been much talk about neither side being willing to accept the election results should their candidate lose.
After the rigging in 2016, 2020, and 2022, Republican voters have good reason to doubt that the election will be free and fair.
Democrats, on the other hand, have shown themselves more than willing to use the “by any means necessary” philosophy to win. That, plus the hyper-shrill rhetoric employed against Trump by the Deep State media and the Democrats – Trump and his supporters are regularly called Nazis, fascists, Hitler, garbage, depolorables, white supremacists, etc. – it should come as no surprise if the Democrats resort to violence if Trump wins.
I fully expect that the two and a half months between November 5 and Inauguration Day on January 20 will be difficult.
Why Has It Come to This?
In his Foreword to Gordon Clark’s A Christian View of Men and Things, John Robbins wrote,
A Christian View of Men and Things presents the argument that the West is disappearing because Christianity, on which Western civilization was built, has already virtually disappeared in the West. The magnificent superstructure of culture, law, economy, and society that we call Western civilization was built on the foundation of Christian truth. Once belief in that truth was lost – as well as belief in the concept of truth altogether – once the West became atheist or idolatrous, the end of its civilization was inevitable.[13]
You and I are living through a civilizational collapse. Regardless of who wins the election, that collapse will proceed, as there has yet to be a necessary reformation of men’s thinking to reverse it.
As Christians, we should pray for this election, asking that the Lord give us civil government officeholders, not according to what we deserve as Americans, but according to his great mercy.
But let us not forget to pray that the Lord sends us reformation so that his gospel of justification by belief alone may once again be boldly proclaimed, that many would come to believe it and that the government of the people, by the people, and for the people may not perish from the earth.
