Illegal Aliens Take a Bite out of the Big Apple

In another New York City-related story illegal alien story, Breitbart reported that illegals arriving on buses would cost New Yorkers more than $4 billion over the next two years. 

That’s a stunning figure, and once again illustrates the evil of the immigration policies of the Biden Regime, which really are the same thing as the immigration policies of the Roman Church-State. 

The story states, “Since the spring of last year, close to 50,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have arrived in the sanctuary city of New York City — sent on buses mostly from Texas, although Arizona has also sent a few thousand.”

The original estimate from November 2022, just 3 months ago, was that New York City was going to have to spend $850 million.  Now it’s up to $4.2 billion.  What are the odds that it’s only going to go up from here? 

Some may think that my pointing out the illegal alien disaster in New York is the gloating of a Midwesterner laughing at a blue sanctuary city in a blue sanctuary state.  But that’s not the case.  I take no delight in watching as America’s largest city gets overrun by an illegal alien welfare migrant horde sent to attack our nation by the globalist, Antichrist Roman Catholic Church-State.   It’s like watching my own civilization be erased before my eyes.  Maybe that’s how the Romans felt when the barbarian hordes were overrunning Italy, or the Jews felt when the Babylonians were sacking Jerusalem.   

What’s worth noting is that no matter how high the cost of supporting the illegal alien welfare migrant horde gets, there seems to be no repentance from New Yorkers for the sanctuary policies that helped create the disaster in the first place.  Mayor Eric Adams has complained about the cost and sought federal dollars, but to my knowledge, he has never called for an end to the Biden Regimes immigration policies or the end of New York’s sanctuary city policy. 

For example, a few weeks ago Mayor Adams was in Washington asking for “more funding to help settle the more than 40,000” illegal aliens that have been dumped in New York since last spring.   He also asked for faster work permits for asylum seekers and a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. 

There is no repentance.  None whatsoever.  Some conservative politicians such as Texas governor Greg Abbott seemed to think that bussing migrants to liberal sanctuary cities would promote an outcry to end the Biden Regime’s treasonous immigration policies, but there has been no change of heart.  In fact, Mayor Adams and others of his ilk remind me more of Pharaoh.  The more Egypt was destroyed, the more he hardened his heart. 

Has the Lord taken away all discernment from American politicians, so that they openly pursue policies that are destroying the very nation whose Constitution they are sworn to uphold?  It seems that way. 

The Bill for Public Education

 Last Monday, The Hill ran a story on the high cost of educating all the illegal aliens brought to the US by the Biden Regime and the Pope. As the piece noted,

Several blue-city mayors who seemed to have no problem with the flood of migrants crossing our southern border have recently discovered they come with a cost — and those mayors aren’t happy about it. But these initial costs are chump change compared to the cost the new arrivals will impose on taxpayers as they settle in and wait to go through the legal process. One of the biggest costs? Public education.

In another disastrous ruling for the American people, the Supreme Court ruled in 1982 that you, the taxpayer, are obligated to pay for the education of every child of every illegal alien who comes to this country.  That’s right, you get stuck with the bill to educate the children of foreigners who should not even be in the country in the first place. 

The Hill estimates the costs of educating all the children of illegal aliens at $7.6 billion per year.  What’s interesting is that The Hill asks the question, “But won’t the parents be paying taxes to offset some of those costs?” Note the story does not ask will the parents be paying taxes to offset all of the costs, only some of the costs.  Well, yes.  “Maybe, eventually,” says The Hill.  As the story notes, “But the recently arrived undocumented immigrants are generally prohibited from working for an employer until they have an Employment Authorization Document (EAD), which can take months to obtain.”

My guess is that the immigration treason lobby will next be working to expedite getting the parents work permits to “reduce the tax burden on the American people.” Of course, they won’t point out that, not only are you being forced to subsidize the education of illegal aliens, but you also are having potential job opportunities taken away by the parents.  And even if you do find a job, there’s a good chance that you’ll earn less due to the flood of labor pouring into America from our non-existent border. 

Your taxes are going to go up, the value of your dollars will go down because of all the money the Federal Reserve will have to print to fund the deficit spending caused by the illegal aliens and to top it off, you’ll probably earn a smaller paycheck as thanks for all your hard work in supporting foreigners and their offspring. 

This is an Americans last immigration policy. The exact inversion of what it should be.

Your Land, Strangers Devour It in Your Presence

Our land is being devoured by foreigners brought here by various interest groups who are openly negligent of their constitutional duties and openly contemptuous of the American people whose welfare they have an obligation to defend. 

Judah was in a similar position in Isaiah’s day.  And it was Isaiah who wrote the words, “your land, strangers devour it in your presence.”  In the prophet’s day, this devouring was one of the evil results of the people’s rebellion against God.  In 2023, strangers devour our land in our presence.  Is it possible that the same thing is happening to us for the same reason?
