Democrats: the Party of Rum, Romanism and Rebellion
In the first place, I will begin with discussing the Romanism of the Democratic party.
At the time of the nation’s founding, 98 percent of the population was Protestant, but all that began to change in the 19th century with massive waves of Roman Catholic immigration, much of which settled in America’s large urban centers. And that Roman Catholic immigrant population supported Democrats and socialism.
In his book Ecclesiastical Megalomania (EM), John Robbins noted,
Pius XI told us that the encyclical Rerum Novarum was instrumental in ending laissez-fair capitalism in the twentieth century by ushering in the era of “effective interference by the government.” Leo XIII had encouraged Roman Catholics to influence their various civil governments, and Pius XI told us that they have done so. In fact, they have been the “foremost advocates of the new policy” of interference….
Pius XI’s claims, though they need no confirmation, are corroborated by a column Joe Klein wrote for Newsweek, February 19, 1996, titled “A Lurch Toward Love.” Telling us that Pat Buchanan, who at that time was running for President, “has got religion,” Klein explained:
The religion is Roman Catholicism, the most significant in American politics, the ultimate swing vote. Catholics were the heart of the New Deal [Democrat] coalition. They were the Daley machine [Democrat] in Chicago, the Curley machine [Democrat] in Boston, Tammany Hall [Democrat] in New York. Jimmy Carter was the last Democrat to win a Catholic majority. Clinton got 43 percent of their support in 1992 (Perot had 20) [that leaves 37 percent for Bush], but Catholics voted overwhelmingly, 57 percent, for Democratic Congressional candidates.
Much of the interference by federal, state, and local governments in the affairs of citizens, both Joe Klein and the papacy have told us, is due to Roman Catholic influence in American politics. Corrupt municipal political machines were constructed and operated by Roman Catholics, following the Church-State’s support for a policy of effective interference: Tammany Hall, the Daley machine, the Curley machine, and so on. Klein could have mentioned much more. Following Vatican directives, Roman Catholic politicians, legislators, and intellectuals brought us the Progressive movement, the labor union movement, the graduated income tax, the New Deal, and the growth of government in the United States (46, 47).
Given the long association of the Roman Catholic Church-State (RCCS) with the Democrats, it is not surprising that all four major party Roman Catholic presidential candidates have been Democrats: Al Smith, John F. Kennedy, John Kerry, and Joe Biden.
Two were losers in their respective elections, Smith and Kerry, one was declared the winner, Kennedy, and the fourth, Biden, is yet to be decided.
Given the famous level of corruption endemic in the Roman Catholic-run, big-city political machines, it is unsurprising to find that the one Roman Catholic to be successfully elected president did so under a cloud of suspicion of election fraud, much like the possible second Roman Catholic occupant of the White House’s election is.
1960, JFK vs. Richard Nixon
There have long been rumors that America’s first Roman Catholic president won the 1960 presidential election under questionable circumstances.
A 2000 Washington Post article “Another Race to the Finish” provides an interesting glimpse at the alleged fraud leaves the reader with the distinct impression that Kennedy’s controversial 1960 win is oddly similar to Biden’s victory in 2020.
Take, for example, the sudden vote reversal in the key swing state of Illinois, where there were allegations [true in the opinion of this author] of massive cheating in Chicago. The article explains,
The networks ignored Hall and listened to their computers. NBC predicted a landslide for Kennedy, but when the race got tighter, the network began backtracking. It called Ohio for Kennedy, then awarded it to Nixon. Later, both NBC and CBS predicted a Kennedy victory in California. That, too, proved wrong: Absentee ballots ultimately swung the state to Nixon.
Before midnight back East, the New York Times went to press with a banner headline: KENNEDY ELECTED PRESIDENT. But Nixon kept gaining and soon the race was too close to call. Times Managing Editor Turner Catledge, fearful that he’d be embarrassed by his headline, began to hope, as he later recalled in his memoirs, that “a certain Midwestern mayor would steal enough votes to pull Kennedy through.”
He was referring, of course, to Daley [that is, Chicago mayor Richard Daley of the Daley machine mentioned by Joe Klein and John Robbins above], a pol believed to be so powerful that he could make the dead vote. But as election night dragged on, Nixon took a lead in Illinois.
That news stunned Sargent Shriver, who was the Illinois campaign manager for his brother-in-law Jack Kennedy. Shriver was watching TV at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Mass., when he saw returns that showed Nixon ahead in Illinois.
“I d*** near collapsed,” he recalls. “I was devastated. I thought that the fact that I had lost my state, Illinois, would mean that Kennedy would lose the presidency.”
He sneaked out of the room. “I didn’t have the [guts] to face those people,” says Shriver, now 85. “I went back to my bedroom and almost cried myself to death.”
Suddenly, somebody was rapping on his door, saying “Sarge, the votes in Illinois have changed completely.”
Shriver hustled back to the TV room. It was true: A late surge of votes from Chicago had put Kennedy back in the lead in Illinois (emphasis, mine).
It’s remarkable how similar this sounds to allegations of cheating by the Democrats in 2020. In 1960, Nixon was about to win Illinois, but suddenly a late surge of votes propelled Kennedy to a win in the state. In 2020, we have similar situations in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Milwaukee and Georgia. In all four states, Donald Trump held a commanding lead with a large percentage of the votes counted. But large vote dumps very early in the morning the day after the election spiked Biden’s vote total in these states.
The Republican National Committee found evidence of election fraud in Texas, home of Kennedy’s running mate Lyndon Johnson.
In Texas, Kennedy’s 46,000-vote margin was the closest statewide race there since 1948, when Kennedy’s running mate, Lyndon B. Johnson, won a Senate seat by 87 votes (the origin of the nickname “Landslide Lyndon”). Morton’s operatives, aided by local Republicans, uncovered plenty of political chicanery. For instance: In Fannin County, which had 4,895 registered voters, 6,138 votes were cast, three-quarters of them for Kennedy. In one precinct of Angelia County, 86 people voted and the final tally was 147 for Kennedy, 24 for Nixon.
On and on it went. The Republicans demanded a recount, claiming that it would give them 100,000 votes and victory. John Connally, the state Democratic chairman, said the Republicans were just “haggling for headlines” and predicted that a recount would give Kennedy another 50,000 votes.
But there was no recount. The Texas Election Board, composed entirely of Democrats, had already certified Kennedy as the winner (emphasis, mine).
Again, this all sounds very similar to what we see in the 2020 election: unrealistic voter turnouts and a rush to certify the election results by Democrats.
Shifting our view back to Chicago, the articles goes on to note,
A Republican National Committee member filed suit to challenge the Chicago results. The case was assigned to Circuit Court Judge Thomas Kluczynski, a Daley machine loyalist.
On Dec. 13, Kluczynski dismissed the Republican suit. Less than a year later, on Mayor Daley’s recommendation, Kennedy appointed Kluczynski to the federal bench.
Ultimately, a special prosecutor, Morris Wexler, was appointed to investigate the Chicago fraud allegations. Wexler brought charges against 650 election officials but a Democratic judge’s pro-defense rulings crippled Wexler’s case and the charges were dropped.
Finally, in 1962, after an election judge confessed to witnessing vote tampering in Chicago’s 28th ward, three precinct workers pled guilty and served short jail terms.
Game. Set. Match. It’s remarkable how easy it is for Romanism to corrupt a republican political system. The Daley machine first takes over the city of Chicago, then gets its loyalists in positions of power such as federal judgeships, who then rule in favor of the machine’s presidential candidate.
As remarkable as these revelations are, the Washington Post article is far from done. Next, we go on to read about New York Herald Tribune journalist Earl Mazo’s investigation into the Chicago election fiasco.
Americans will probably never know for certain if the Democrats stole the election of 1960. But Earl Mazo is pretty sure they did.
“There’s no question in my mind that it was stolen,” he says. “It was stolen like mad. It was stolen in Chicago and in Texas.”
Back in 1960, Mazo, now 81, was the Washington-based national political correspondent for the New York Herald Tribune. After the election, he kept getting calls from reporter friends in Chicago who told him wild stories of election fraud there.
“They were in effect chastising me,” he recalls, “saying, ‘You national reporters, you’re missing the story, why don’t you come out and look?’ “
So Mazo went out and looked. He went to Chicago, obtained lists of voters in precincts that seemed suspicious and started checking their addresses.
“There was a cemetery where the names on the tombstones were registered and voted,” he recalls. “I remember a house. It was completely gutted. There was nobody there. But there were 56 votes for Kennedy in that house.”
At the urging of Chicago Democrats, Mazo went to Republican areas downstate and looked for fraud there. He found it.
“In downstate Illinois, there was definitely fraud,” he says. “The Republicans were having a good time, too. But they didn’t have the votes to counterbalance Chicago. There was no purity on either side, except that the Republicans didn’t have Daley in their corner–or Lyndon Johnson.”
Again, this is all very similar to what appears to have happened in 2020. There have been denials in the mainstream press saying that Republican charges of “widespread election fraud” are false. In this respect, it appears that the mainstream media is, for a change, actually correct. Just as in 1960, there was not “widespread fraud” committed by the Democrats, but tightly focused fraud that managed to flip key localities, which managed to flip key states, which managed to flip the presidential election.
The best commentary I’ve seen on the Democrats’ strategy of localized, strategic election fraud, “stealing like crazy” as Earl Mazo put it, comes from an interview with retired Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne. I highly recommend watching the full interview. It’s only 20 minutes and very much on point. According to Byrne,
This election was completely rigged. The Democrats are correct, it was not widespread. It was very intelligent, whoever designed it. They picked five, arguably six places. But I’m just going to speak to five really. And they were Atlanta, Philly, Milwaukee, Detroit and Maricopa [Maricopa is a reference to Maricopa County, which includes Phoenix, and is the nation’s fourth largest county, claiming 4.5 million residents on its website]. And they rigged, they were very clever. They realized that you don’t have to steal the nation’s election. You don’t have to cheat everywhere. You just gotta cheat like crazy in those five places. Those five places flipped the states that they’re in. those five states more than flipped the country. So really to steal the nation, they needed to steal five counties. And they went full on goon in those counties. And did this outrageous stuff. Gooning, having muscle goons go up and drive out poll watchers, and shutting the polls down in the middle of the night and putting newspapers over…. All this goon, it’s scofflaw stuff. It’s somebody who’s not every trying anymore to pretend they’re following the law. They realize if you do it in those five places, you can flip the whole election.
If what Byrne’s says is true, then the apparent 2020 election theft by the Democrats follows the same pattern as their theft of the 1960 election. Just as Democratic shenanigans in 1960 were tightly focused on Chicago and Texas, so too was the Democrat’s 2020 election fraud focused in a few urban centers: Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta Milwaukee and Phoenix.
Why Christians Should Care About Election Integrity
The most basic reason why Christians should care about election integrity is the Law of God. We are told in the Ten Commandments not to lie and not to steal. Cheating in elections breaks at least these two commandments.
But there are additional reasons for Christians to be concerned about election integrity in general, and the 2020 election’s integrity in particular.
Election fraud is a violation of the public trust. If citizens cannot trust their government to fairly administer an election, it opens the question, what else is the government lying about? What else are the institutions – news media, for example – that defend election fraud lying about? Why the cover up?
With respect to the 2020 election, Christians have very good reason to be concerned about the policies of a Biden administration, which, among other things, threatens to bring us:
- More aggressive Covid lockdowns with a national mask mandate
- The Green New Deal, an aggressive attack on the liberty and prosperity of the American people
- Mass, taxpayer subsidized immigration, migration and refugee resettlement
- Globalism
- Identity politics
- Truth and Reconciliation Commissions used to punish political thought
- Reparations for slavery
- A revival of the LGBT agenda (Biden has promised to sign pro-homosexual civil rights legislation in his first 100 days in office)
- More foreign wars of aggression
- Higher taxes
- More money printing, which means the destruction of the purchasing power of the dollar
- Critical Race Theory
- The Monstrous Regiment of Women
- A politically strengthened Roman Catholic Church
- A weakened Protestant witness
- The legitimization of domestic terrorist organizations such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa
- Attacks on the First Amendment (free speech) and the Second Amendment (the right to keep and bear arms)
Most, if not all, of these items are, interestingly enough, also the legislative goals of the RCCS and the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.
But for all this, when was the last time you heard a Protestant minister or writer take Biden, or any other politician for that matter, to task for openly promoting the destructive legislative goals of the liberty hating RCCS? At the very least, it’s been a long time. There’s a good chance you’ve never heard it.
But, as the Apostle Paul tells us, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
In another place, the Apostle writes, “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.”
Where are the Christian men to expose, rebuke and correct the evil Joe Biden, the evil Democratic party and the evil Babylonian Harlot RCCS and its Antichrist Pope?
Rebuking evil is not an option for Christians. It is part of our calling. Woe to us if we shirk our duty!
Jesus said that if the salt loses its savor, it is good for nothing and is thrown out and trampled underfoot. We as American Protestants need to take a good long look at ourselves and ask whether we are that salt that’s lost its savor and what this may mean for us.
A Biden administration will be a massive advance for the false gospel, and false economic and political teaching of the RCCS in the United States. To the degree that we are able, it is imperative for Protestants to speak out against the fraudulent 2020 election and, if possible, prevent a Biden administration from taking office.
