The news hardly came as a shock. It wasn’t even surprising. Yesterday, the Drudge Report linked to an article from Vatican News stating that the Pope was sending $500,000 in aid to migrants stranded at the US-Mexico border.

Ever since the migrant caravans first became news in the late summer and early fall of 2018, the question has been asked many times, but never satisfactorily answered, Who’s providing the funding for them? At this point, there should be no doubt that the answer to this question is, at least in large part, the Roman Catholic Church-State.

As has been covered in this space numerous times over the past two-plus years, it is the opinion of this writer that the single biggest driver of the migrant crisis in Europe and in the United States is the economic and political philosophy and the activities of the Antichrist papacy and of the Roman Catholic Church-State. Rome certainly has provided the theoretical framework for the migrant invasion in the form of her social teaching. With this in mind, it should come as no surprise that she also has provided practical help in the form of funding to bring about the desired result.

Whether Protestants realize it or not, and most Protestants seem not to have a clue, a state of warfare exists between the globalist Roman Catholic Church-State and the independent nations of the world. This state of warfare has existed from at least the time of the Treaty Westphalia, which ended the Thirty Year’s War in 1648 and resulted in a Protestant international order of independent nation states, which greatly diminished the temporal power and prestige of the Roman Catholic Church-State (RCCS) and the Office of the Papacy.

The Reformation dealt a mortal wound to the RCCS. But today it is an institution recovering from that wound, one which seemingly grows in power by the year.

When warned about the historical predations of Rome and the Biblical commands not to yoke in ministry with unbelievers – the RCCS formally went apostate at the Council of Trent where is damned, cursed and anathematized the Gospel of Justification by Belief Alone and everyone who believes in it – many naive Protestants argue that Rome has changed. So great has been the change from the bad old days, we are told by these people, that the Pope, far from being a threat to believers, is actually our brother in Christ!

The enormity of the confusion among contemporary Protestants about the true nature of Rome can be seen from an article in neo-evangelical house organ Christianity Today titled “From Antichrist to Brother in Christ: How Protestant Pastors View the Pope.” Reading this article, released by Christianity Today at the time of Pope Francis historic tour of Washington D.C., New York and Philadelphia in September 2015, is a real eye opener. For it reveals the utter uselessness of vast swaths of the Protestant church in the United States when it comes to opposing the philosophy, the theology and the political machinations of Satan’s masterpiece, the RCCS.

According to the article, a survey of 1,000 Protestant ministers revealed:

• More than half of them consider Pope Francis to be their brother in Christ
  
• More than a third say they value the Pope’s views on theology and that he has raised their opinion of the RCCS
  

Ed Stetzer, executive director of LifeWay Research, is quoted as saying, “Our sample itself – Protestant pastors – is named after the Protestant Reformation, so they are particularly interesting to survey. And the survey says that this pope [Francis] does, indeed, have a ‘Francis effect,’ even on a group of people named for protesting the very faith the pope leads.”

Jesus warned his listeners about what happens to salt that has lost its savor. It is good for nothing and is destined to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

These pastors, who refuse to see Rome for what it is and refuse to teach their congregations the truth about Antichrist and the Babylonian Harlot, these pastors who teach the Jesuitical eschatological rubbish of Preterism and Futurism in place of the sound, and all but forgotten, Reformed eschatological system of historicism, not only have rendered themselves useless in the defense of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but have also rendered their congregations useless in the fight as well.

And if Christians cannot and will not defend the Gospel of Jesus Christ against the Antichrist papal wolf in sheep’s clothing, how can they have any hope of defending Western Civilization, their very own civilization, a civilization created from the widespread preaching of, and belief in, the Gospel of Justification by Belief alone, or of defending their own nations against the aggressive assaults – including the nation breaking tactic of flooding their countries with Roman Catholic welfare migrants – of the RCCS?

Have Protestants totally lost their savor? Will we be thrown out and trampled underfoot for our faithlessness and treason as Jesus warned? It is my prayer that God would have mercy on us yet.

This post and, Lord willing, future posts on Rome’s migrant assault on America’s southern border is meant as a wakeup call, a warning to fellow believers. As the apostle famously noted, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness in this world and spiritual wickedness in high places.

If American Christians are to defeat Antichrist’s attempt to break their nation through mass, welfare subsidized migration, they must once again learn the skill of fighting, not as secular conservatives, not as ecumenical religious warriors, but as Christians dressed in the full armor of God.

Romanizing America Through Illegal Immigration

If you read only one article on Rome’s blatant attack on American sovereignty, please make it Romanizing America through Illegal Immigration. This brilliant essay by Pastor Ralph Ovadal, though written in April 2006, more than any other piece on immigration known to this author, lays out the why and the how of Rome’s push for the mass migration of Roman Catholics into the United States in 2019.

I highly recommend you take the time to read this essay for yourself. But to summarize Ovadal’s argument, the RCCS is pushing illegal immigration to turn the United States, historically a Protestant nation, into a Roman Catholic one by opposing every measure that would allow America to gain control of its borders and by encouraging every activity – legal and illegal – that brings in more Roman Catholic migrants. Rome’s ultimate goal in taking these steps is to erase national borders, which will allow her once again to saddle up the beast and to ride it, large and in charge just as in the bad old days.

Closing Thoughts

The idea that Rome would want to effect a return to the Christendom of the middle ages, that she seeks to reign over a new and greater Holy Roman Empire, this time one world-wide in scope, probably seems laughable to the many confused Protestants of the early 21st century. It should not be surprising that this is so. For over a century, Protestants have worked to rehabilitate in the eyes of the public, and to justify the practices of, the satanic RCCS. More than 100 years ago, Presbyterians removed the explicit language from the Westminster Confession identifying Antichrist and the office of the papacy and replaced it with something far more squishy. More recently, men such as Billy Graham and Charles Colson have engaged in ministry with Roman Catholic priests and prelates, and encouraged their many followers to do likewise. They have, as it were, performed great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

For Protestants who have not been taught sound eschatology, and this includes nearly all Protestants in this decadent day and age, such language about Rome likely seems intolerant, harsh and unloving. But the Word of God calls Christians not only to preach and believe the truth, but also to point out and refute falsehood.

For more than 100 years, the Protestant church has failed miserably, not only to teach the truth, but also to refute error. As a result, our witness has become weak, we ourselves have become objects of scorn, and our civilization is in an advanced state of collapse.

In the opinion of this author, Western Civilization, Protestant Civilization, now hangs in the balance. If the Pope has his way, he will bring such a flood of Roman Catholic migrants, immigrants (legal and illegal, it doesn’t much matter) and refugees into this country as to thoroughly and permanently Romanize the United States and eventually bring it under the full authority of Rome.

The Apostle Paul commanded the Corinthians, “In understanding be men.” To the Christian men who are reading this essay, I challenge you to take up the apostle’s charge. Hearkening back to the title of this post, our fight is not a political battle, it is spiritual one. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness in high places, namely, the high place of the Antichrist Office of the Papacy. To us it is given to fight for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for our country and for our families. May it be said of us, as the Paul said of himself before the Ephesian elders, that we are innocent of the blood of all men, for we have not failed to proclaim the whole counsel of God.
