For anyone who has been out of the labor force for the last 10 years or more, it’s probably hard to comprehend just how hard-core many businesses have become at promoting the sodomite agenda both internally and externally.
Just today, I noticed a post on Facebook from a former employer of mine touting the glories of Pride Month. According to this company’s post, “Today and every day, we proudly join others in celebrating Pride.” As the Apostle Paul said, “Their glory is in their shame.” The thing is, when I started work at this particular company, I was relieved by its relatively non-woke culture compared to the employer I had just left. At that prior employer, they ran campaigns on the company intranet such as “How Are You Celebrating Pride Month? Let Us Know!” At that place, I always wanted to ask them whether “I’m not” was an acceptable answer.
But my, how things have changed! The company that ran the Facebook post I mentioned is not in some massive conglomerate located in a coastal, Democrat-dominated big city or blue state. It’s a mid-sized insurance company headquartered in the heartland of red-state America. When I started there, I was pleased to find that in place of all the woke garbage at my old employer, they celebrated boring stuff like “Annuity Awareness Month.” Now while annuities may be boring, they’re not sinful, Marxist nonsense either. I mentioned the Facebook post to a friend of mine who still works there, and he replied that they now have a designated person who promotes DIE[1] at their team meetings.
When companies promote the homosexual agenda, they put Christians, particularly those who are in management positions, in a position where they must choose which master they will serve: The corporation demanding they promote sodomy or the Lord who condemns such practices. I have a close friend who previously held a high-level management job at a major company. He’s a Christian and left his position mainly due to his employer’s insistence that he promote the homosexual agenda to the division he oversaw. I have tremendous respect for him for making this decision. It was a costly one for him, but he did the right thing.
Some people have wondered where the impetus for all this has come from. Why the big push to promote the homosexual agenda? It should come as no surprise to readers of this blog that one of the biggest culprits in promoting the satanic push to normalize homosexuality is the papal Antichrist. Even some Catholics are shocked and angered at the degree to which Pope Francis is pushing the gay agenda within the Roman Catholic Church. But this should come as no surprise as Rome has promoted sodomy for centuries. Martin Luther wrote about the common practice of sodomy and pedophilia at the Vatican 500 years ago, and it was likely not a new phenomenon in his day.
Antichrist’s latest push promoting sodomy is Pope Francis’ recent declaration that Rome would bless same-sex unions. Now the language of the document making this declaration, Fiducia Supplicans, goes to great lengths in its attempt to distinguish this blessing from saying the church supports same-sex “marriage.” But many observers understand that this move is merely laying the groundwork for the Church’s eventual full recognition of same-sex marriages. A friend who is knowledgeable about Rome has told me he thinks full recognition of same-sex “marriage” could come as soon as this fall.
Within the Antichrist Roman Church-State, the Jesuits are the biggest promoters of sodomy. Prominent Jesuit James Martin writes, “Can Catholics celebrate Pride Month? Yes, because for the #LGBTQ person it is not about celebrating vanity but recognizing human dignity. For the religious person, it is also a reminder that LGBTQ people are beloved children of God.”[2] It is, of course, a satanic lie to say that homosexuals are “children of God,” for the Word of God says such persons will not inherit the kingdom of God. The evil of the Jesuits seems to know no limits.
In Romans 1, Paul spoke of those practicing sodomy as “committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.” Yet Jesuit James Martin promotes this lifestyle. It would seem that the evil of the Jesuit order knows no bounds.
A small bit of good news in all this evil is that there are some signs that people are getting tired of the sodomite agenda. For the first time, polls have registered a decline in support for same-sex “marriage,”[3] and Target, one of the wokest retailers, has indicated that it “is cutting back on the number of its stores that will carry Pride Month-related merchandise in June.”[4]
But I would caution any readers inclined to suppose that these trends signal a real change of direction for America. Until we have a new Reformation, there seems to be little standing between our current state and a slide downhill to something worse. Christians are not going to win this fight by conservative political action but by preaching the Gospel of Justification by Belief Alone and praying that the Lord would do his work in calling many from darkness into his marvelous light.
