And sinful man’s desire to build empires did not die with antiquity but continues to this current day.  Recently, we’ve seen the British Empire on which the sun never set and against which the American colonies successfully rebelled.  The Third Reich was said to last a thousand years, but it lasted only twelve.  And while Americans don’t like to admit it, we have an American Empire, one that began under William McKinley in the late 19^th century, hit its stride in the years following WWII, and now appears to be in rapid decline.  

But these secular empires all pale in comparison to the great world-spanning empire of the Roman Catholic Church-State.  Rome’s empire took a beating in the 16^th century from the Protestant Reformation, which wrested many of the nations of Europe from the control of the pope.  But here in the 21^st century, we see that Roman Catholic Church-State Empire has largely recovered from that deadly wound and is pushing to do what it achieved in Europe during the Middle Ages on a worldwide scale.  As John Robbins noted,

What the Roman Church-State accomplished on a small scale during the Middle Ages is what it desires to achieve on a global scale in the coming millennium.  If it fails to reach its goal within the next hundred years, it will not quit.  It will continue to work relentlessly for world power, even if it should take another millennia or two.

But what does all this have to do with the World Economic Forum (WEF) which I mentioned in the title of this post?  In my opinion, it is this.  The WEF should be seen as a tool of the Roman Church-State for achieving its goal of global domination.  This is not the consensus view of Rome and its relation to the WEF and other globalist bodies such as the United Nations.  But Rome is far older and more powerful than either the WEF or the UN and to suggest that the WEF, an organization that has been around only since 1971, is running the show and Rome is on the outside is to suggest that the tail is wagging the dog, which it most certainly is not the case. 

In the opinion of this author, Rome is the dog and the WEF, UN and other globalist organizations are its various tails which it wags.  As Stuart Quint noted in his article “Francis the Fox Pushes the Great Reset with Rome’s Climate Agenda,” Pope Francis is “allied with the World Economic Forum.” The WEF boasts on its website a piece titled “Pope Francis’s message to Davos 2018 in full.”   Quint notes that in exchange for Francis’s support, “the WEF adores Francis with Catholic panels at the annual Davos gathering as well as touting his decrees on their website.” 

As Christians, we need to be aware of the danger of the WEF, the UN, the Council on Foreign Relations, and other such bodies that promote globalism and attack the independence of sovereign nations.  The Westphalian World Order, the Biblical, Protestant system of international relations established as a result of the Protestant Ally’s victory over the armies of Rome in the Thirty Years War, established the nation-state as the highest level of government and, in contrast to the impoverished and tyrannical Middle Ages so loved by the Romanists and many modern pseudo-Protestants, ushered in an era of peace and prosperity far superior to what had been known in any previous era.  Sovereign nation-states act as a bulwark against the tyranny of the Antichrist Roman Catholic Church-State and its attempts to build another Tower of Babel.  Christians must be on their guard against Rome and against her allies in other globalist organizations such as the WEF.
