Many times in Scripture, Christians are commanded not to be deceived. As those who know the truth, there is an expectation that we Protestants understand how to apply what we have learned from the Bible to the various men and circumstances we encounter in our lives.
Today I came across an article titled “Vatican Court judge criticizes Bill Gates, George Soros and Klaus Schwab for using Covid to impose ‘total control’ on population” that touches on two areas of special interest to me: The Roman Catholic Church-State (RCCS) and the ongoing Covid tyranny. Perhaps we could include another area, globalism.
The above-referenced article relates how a German Cardinal named Gerhard Ludwig Mueller, described in the article as “a high-ranking Vatican court judge,” has come out criticizing the likes of Bill Gates, George Soros, and über Bond villain wanna be Klaus Schwab for using Covid as an excuse to impose tyranny on the world.
As someone who believes in limited government and the Westphalian World Order (WWO) – the WWO is the international political system implied in Scripture, one in which each nation has the right to conduct its internal affairs without interference from the outside forces; this idea is sometimes called Westphalian sovereignty after the treaty of Westphalia ratified in 1648, which treaty is the basis of international relations in the modern world; it is and always has been hated by the RCCS for undermining the imperial system favored by the Church-State – it’s easy and tempting to say “amen” to the Cardinal’s remarks. But should Christians be so quick to hop on board with Cardinal Mueller?
