In a recent column, Paul Craig Roberts put it this way, “Trump was demonized before he was inaugurated. He was demonized because he was correctly perceived by the Establishment as a threat to the Establishment. Trump’s election surprised the Establishment. The Establishment thought that Establishment control over the media guaranteed their power and was astonished to realize that enough American voters saw through their lies and propaganda to elect a non-establishment figure.”
The Empire, and Dr. Roberts notes, began striking back even before Trump was elected. He was demonized in the press by Democrats and Republicans alike. To give you some measure of how much Trump was disliked by the establishment of both parties, which is really just one establishment, the sitting Republican Governor of Ohio, John Kasich, refused to attend the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, a city in his own state!, where Donald Trump would be nominated as the GOP’s 2016 presidential candidate.
After Trump won, the efforts to oust him went up a gear. For example, the very weekend after Trump’s November 2016 election triumph, a group founded by George Soros – does this guy found every single leftist group in the world? – met in Washington D.C. to plot their opposition to Trump. In the article, “Soros And Liberal Mega-Donors Plot For War With Donald Trump” we read,
According to Politico, the meeting, which began on Sunday night at Washington’s Mandarin Oriental hotel, is sponsored by the influential Democracy Alliance donor club and will include darlings of the left such as House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Congressional Progressive Caucus co-chairman Keith Ellison.
Politico reports:
The meeting is the first major gathering of the institutional left since Trump’s shocking victory over Hillary Clinton in last week’s presidential election, and, if the agenda is any indication, liberals plan full-on trench warfare against Trump from Day One. Some sessions deal with gearing up for 2017 and 2018 elections, while others focus on thwarting President-elect Trump’s 100-day plan, which the agenda calls “a terrifying assault on President Obama’s achievements — and our progressive vision for an equitable and just nation.”
Yet the meeting also comes as many liberals are reassessing their approach to politics — and the role of the Democracy Alliance, or DA, as the club is known in Democratic finance circles. The DA, its donors and beneficiary groups over the last decade have had a major hand in shaping the institutions of the left, including by orienting some of its key organizations around Clinton, and by basing their strategy around the idea that minorities and women constituted a so-called “rising American electorate” that could tip elections to Democrats.
The Democracy Alliance has fed upwards of $500 million toward liberal activist groups and candidates since Soros co-founded the group in 2005.
All members of DA are required to give $200,000 a year to recommended activist groups and pay annual dues of $30,000 to fund the DA staff and its meetings.

Gara LaMarche, the president of the DA, told donors Sunday evening that some reassessment is in order for the Democratic party. “You don’t lose an election you were supposed to win, with so much at stake, without making some big mistakes, in assumptions, strategy and tactics,” LaMarche said, according to prepared remarks he provided to Politico.
In the following four years:
- The Democrats, using 2016 Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, pushed for a national recount of the 2016 presidential election, results, which in some places – Detroit, for example, one of the centers of the party of rum, Romanism and rebellion’s theft of the 2020 presidential election – had to abandoned due to all the voter fraud that came to light during the recount. Of course, the fact that there was massive voter fraud found in Detroit in 2016 has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the likelihood of massive voter fraud in 2020. It’s all coincidence. Nothing to see here, folks!
- A national effort was put on to convince members of the electoral college to vote against Donald Trump even through Trump had won their states. “Electors around the country are being harassed with a barrage of emails, phone calls, letters and even death threats, in an effort to block Donald Trump from being voted in as president by the Electoral College on Monday” (“ʽBullet In The Mouth’ – Trump Electors Flooded With Death Threats,” Zero Hedge, 12/15/2016).
- Queen Bee Hillary proved to be such a gracious loser that she didn’t even make the customary concession speech on election night but sent her campaign manager out to make an announcement. According to one report, “after Hillary realized she had lost, she went into a rage. Secret Service officers told at least one source that she began yelling, screaming obscenities, and pounding furniture. She picked up objects and threw them at attendants and staff. She was in an uncontrollable rage. Her aides could not allow her to come out in public. It would take her hours to calm down.” This is consistent with other reports of her violent temper and tendency to rage. In a September 2017 interview with Anderson Cooper, Hillary renewed her calls for the electoral college to be eliminated. This is typical of Democrats, who, when things go against them, rather than accept defeat seek to change the rules. And speaking of changing the rules…
- It likely will come to be seen in time that one of, perhaps even the main reason, why the Democrats were able to successfully steal the 2020 election was a series of lawsuits brought by Mark Elias, a lawyer with the Democratic law firm of Perkins Coie LLP. If Perkins Coie sound familiar, it’s the law firm that was neck deep in the bogus Russian dossier. In fact, Mark Elias was the fellow at Perkins Coie who hired Fusion GPS, the company that hired James Bond wanna be Christopher Steele and complied the fake dossier with allegations about Donald Trump’s Russia connections. That dossier was used by the FBI to convince the FISA court to allow them to spy on Trump’s 2016 campaign and also served as the basis for the two-year-long Russiagate ordeal, which cost millions of dollars, wasted countless hours and ended up amounting to nothing. Yeah, it was this same guy who spearheaded the Democrats successful attempt to flood the zone with mail in ballots prior to the election, making it all the easier for them to rig it. Mark Elias may be the Democrats Most Valuable Player in their apparently successful bid to steal the 2020 presidential election.
- Of course, there was the afore mentioned, farcical Russiagate, which was the single biggest and most obvious fraud I had ever seen at that time. Two whole years of Russia! Russia! Russia! with not a shred of convincing proof. When Robert Mueller testified before Congress about the finings of the investigation, his performance was so bad that even The Hill, a reliably Democratic paper, called it an “epic embarrassment.”
- No sooner had everyone forgotten about Russia! Russia! Russia! than it was time for Ukraine! Ukraine! Ukraine! We were told that Donald Trump had said something on a phone call with the newly elected President of Ukraine, an utterance so bad, so wicked, so monumentally evil that the sin of it could be expiated only by the President’s immediate impeachment. At his Senate trial, witness after witness was brought forward to testify that Trump had been mean to them, was a very bad man and must be removed from office for the sake of the Republic. The nation uttered a collective yawn, Trump avoided conviction, and everyone soon forgot about the whole embarrassing thing.
- Having failed to get rid of Trump on two occasions, the Empire released its Covid Death Star in 2020. Using what amounts to a cold virus, the globalists, Deep Staters, banksters, crony capitalist billionaires, Vaticanites etc. destroyed the liberties, jobs and businesses of the people of Great Britain, America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and a host of other nations. It’s almost as if they used a manufactured crisis not only to set up Donald Trump for electoral defeat – it was so-called pandemic that was used as an excuse to expand mail in voting in the presidential election far beyond anything ever seen before – but also to punish the people of America and the UK for daring to vote against them, and to warn the people of the other nations that they’d best not get out of line.
All this brings us to last week. After two months of losing court battles, Trump and his supporters rallied in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, January 6, the day when Congress was to certify the vote of the electoral college.
In his speech, Trump encouraged his supporters to walk to the Capitol to “peacefully and patriotically” and to make their voices heard. It’s there that what had been another peaceful Trump rally turned into a riot. When I saw the videos of the breach of the Capitol on Wednesday, my heart sank.
Not even knowing any of the particulars of what had happened previously or having any time to think about the events of the day, it was obvious that the Democrats were going to use breach of the Capitol as a pretext to seize the moral high ground and denounce Trump and his supporters a bunch of domestic terrorists, etc.
And it didn’t take long.
The Capitol had scarcely been cleared of the rioters and the media shrieking began. Trump must immediately resign or be impeached! Invoke the 25th Amendment! White privilege! Cleanse the movement he [Trump] commands!
It’s almost as if this is a coordinated, last-ditch effort by the Deep Staters and that whole deplorable crowd to not only oust Trump before the end of his term, but to paint his supporters as untermenschen – this was the term the Nazis used for the Jews – whose obvious, inherent evil makes means they can righteously be punished by their moral betters without regard for niceties such as due process.
Almost makes you wonder what they’re afraid of.
And the Dems didn’t take long to start up with the racist rhetoric either. Just yesterday, there was a story that reads “The Latest: Pelosi Ties Rioter’s Actions to ‘Whiteness.’” The article quotes her saying that the Trump supporters who rioted Wednesday were guilty of choosing, “their whiteness over democracy.” I’m not really sure what this is supposed to mean, choosing “whiteness over democracy,” but it sure sounds really, really bad. So bad, in fact, that it makes what was done in Capitol Hill infinitely worse than what Black Lives Matter and Antifa have done to cities large and small all across America, burning them down and looting in the name of racial justice and the all-around self-evident badness of America.
Chasten Buttigieg, the “husband” of Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg added, “White privilege is violently storming the US Capitol and just…being sent home.
I guess that’s why this article details the arrest and charging of several rioters. Funny how that works. Commit acts of violence; go to jail. It’s almost like this country has a justice system. Who knew? But don’t tell that the Chasten, who wants you to believe that all the rioters are going to get off scot free. Probably due to their white privilege or something.
Is this the End of MAGA?
Is this the end of MAGA? I’d be lying if I told you things don’t look pretty grim.
It’s astounding how fast events are moving right now. You can almost hear the prison doors clanging shut behind you in the new America of Joe Biden, and the man isn’t even president yet.
It’s truly astonishing the rapidity at which conservatives, Christians and Trump supporters – in particular, white Trump supporters – have found themselves demonized in their own country and on the verge of being nonpersoned.
Tucker Carlson made the point the other night that the people in the incoming Biden administration want to hurt those on the other side, you and me. He very clearly is right in this.
So what shall we Christians do in light of all this? Do we give up and await whatever fate the progressives think to dish out to us? Do we cower in fear? Do we remain silent hoping no one notices us?
No to all!
In the first place, we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. So how is it possible that the destruction of our own civilization redounds to our good?
That’s a good question…and a tough one.
On the surface, it would seem unlikely that the inauguration of a fraudulently elected president – one who himself is a crook and is surrounded by some of the worst ideologues, many, if not all, of whom hate ordinary Americans and Christians – could work to the good of God’s people.
And yet, the Bible very clearly teaches that such things do work to the good of God’s elect.
Perhaps one way a Biden presidency can work to good of God’s people is that it will force us to trust less in ourselves and our strength and wisdom and power to rely instead on seeking the Lord, who alone can deliver us.
Another way is that it could teach us how to love our enemies. It’s easy to detest the socialists, anarchists and critical race theorists who parade around as if they own everything. Indeed, their ideas are loathsome and need to be refuted. But can we learn to show grace to those who hate us? Ah, now that’s a challenge.
This is very speculative, but it’s not impossible that Donald Trump’s “loss” in the presidential election may save him the embarrassment of being in office when the economy implodes. I don’t know for sure when the roof’s going to cave in, but cave in it surely will. What if it caves in while Biden, Pelosi and Schumer are holding the reins of power? They’ll wish they were anywhere else but in charge of things. Who knows? Joe Biden may go down in history as the next Herbert Hoover.
I just did a podcast last night on the failure of political conservatism. The idea for the podcast was borrowed from John Robbins’ 2002 Trinity Review titled “Conservatism: An Autopsy.” I encourage you to read it. In it, Robbins explains that, not only are conservatism and Christianity not the same thing, but that conservativism is and has been at war with Christianity.
This is one of the most important essays I’ve ever read. It changed my thinking permanently when I first read it almost nineteen years ago. In short, Robbins argues that Christians need to separate themselves from conservatives, learning instead to take their political and economic views from the 66 books of the Bible, which has a monopoly on truth.
By suggesting ways in which the coming difficulties will work together for the good of God’s elect, I do not mean to minimize the potential danger of the coming new political arrangement in America. Most likely, things are going to change economically and politically for the worse, and as Christians we must get prepared for this. But even if we’re prepared, we’re still likely all going to get hurt in some way or another.
So, what shall we say to this? One thing to keep in mind, as the Author of Hebrews tells us, chastening is a sign of God’s love for his people. That sounds strange to our ears. Yet we read, “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” In fact, if we’re not chastened, Hebrews goes on to say, we’re not the Lord’s children. Now receiving correction isn’t fun, as the passage states. But it does “yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.”
