The Marriner S. Eccles Federal Reserve Board Building in Washington D.C.
“[T]he Fed has one power that is unique to it alone: it enables the creation of money out of thin air.”
– Ron Paul, End The Fed
The welfare state, the warfare state and the loss of liberty.
Inflation, extreme income inequality and the destruction of the middle class.
Exploding federal debt, skyrocketing federal deficits and a financial system on the brink of failure.
What do all these things have in common? To one degree or another, they are all the effects of the Federal Reserve System, more commonly known as the Fed, America’s central bank.
And while the above list is wide ranging, it does not begin to list all the deleterious effects the Fed has inflicted on America over the past nearly 106 years since Congress passed the Federal Reserve Act on Christmas Eve 1913. So wide ranging are the evils wrought by the Fed that time would fail me were I to attempt to list them all.
This is not to say that were we to end the Fed that we would find ourselves living in heaven on Earth. As sinful sons of Adam, the human race would, no doubt, find plenty of ways to cause mischief. But that said, ending the Fed would, I believe, remove the single biggest threat to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness presently found in our nation.
The purpose of this occasional, open-ended series is to expose the evil activities of this secretive institution with the aim of educating readers and encouraging them to understand the necessity of ending this wicked, parasitical system of central banking.
The plan for the Fed Watch series is like that of the recurring Rome Watch series in that I intend to keep the posts short and tightly focused on single Fed related issues. Some of these posts will deal with general topics related to the Fed and central banking to help readers better understand how the Fed works its financial black magic, others will deal with current, Fed related news items.
The Fed is the very beating heart of the Deep State, as it provides the financial fuel that funds all its destructive activities. No Fed, no Deep State.
In the opinion of this author, the threat the Fed poses to our country is such that either we the American people end the Fed, or the Fed will end our liberties and maybe even our lives.
It’s that serious.
But despite its seriousness, few people are aware of the Fed’s activities and how these activities slowly but surely destroy our money and our liberties. And you can be sure of this, the powers that be are more than happy to keep people in the dark.
But keeping people in the dark is exactly the opposite of what this blog is about. Lux lucet in tenebris is Latin for “the light shines in the darkness.” With this series, it is my intention to shine the light of Biblical truth on the dark deeds of the Fed and bring them to an end.
I’d like to close this post with a recent video from one of the Fed’s greatest foes, former Congressman Ron Paul.
