The “big lie” is a propaganda technique based on the supposed idea that, if one tells gigantic lies, those lies will gain acceptance because normal people can’t fathom that someone could make up such enormous falsehoods.
Whether the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is conscientiously practicing the big lie, I cannot say for sure. That said, there is a repeated idea put forward in their immigration propaganda, and in the immigration propaganda of the Roman Catholic Church-State in general, that could fairly be considered a big lie.
So what’s the big lie I’m talking about? It’s the USCCB’s insistence that it recognizes “the right of nations to control their borders in a just and proportionate manner.”
In two recent press releases by the USCCB on immigration enforcement actions taken by the Trump administration, the bishops have insisted that they do too believe that nations have a right to enforce their immigration laws. But what the USCCB grants with one hand it takes away with the other. Let’s look at a couple of recent statements from this group.
In its June 14, 2019 press release whining about the immigration agreement between the US and Mexico, the bishops wrote, “As always, we recognize the right of a nation to secure its borders. However, the Gospel teaches us to love our neighbor.” Then on June 22 in another release, this one complaining about Trump’s threat to begin mass deportations, the USCCB wrote, “We recognize the right of nations to control their borders in a just and proportionate manner.”
The bishops would have you believe that they really do believe in immigration enforcement, they just believe in it with certain qualifications. And it just so happens that every single thing the United States has ever done, currently does, or proposes to do, to enforce its immigration laws fails to meet the standards of “just and proportionate” as defined by the bishops.
This is Rome’s big lie, or at least one of them, concerning immigration: On the one hand Rome says it recognizes the right of nations to enforce their borders, while on the other hand defining any actual attempt by national governments to do so as unjust and disproportionate.
In all the press releases by the USCCB seen by this author, he has yet to encounter a single example of the bishops supporting immigration enforcement. Just to give you some idea about how adamantly opposed the USCCB is to any kind of immigration enforcement in practice, let’s look at the headlines of some recent press releases commenting on immigration enforcement attempts by the US federal government.

So, according to the USCCB, it is unjust and disproportionate for the US federal government to: End DACA, deploy the National Guard to defend its own borders, do anything to keep out welfare migrants and bogus asylum seekers, set limits on the number of taxpayer supported refugees that come to the US, build a border wall, force those in Temporary Protected Status to return to their homes even though the emergency that brought them to the US took place almost 20 years ago, force asylum seekers (most of which are bogus) to remain in Mexico while their cases are reviewed, and determine for itself how to conduct its Constitutionally mandated census.
Since Rome opposes all these attempts by the US to enforce its border, it’s worth asking, just what actual immigration enforcement actions does Rome support? This author can think of not a single example of the USCCB backing any immigration control measure. Perhaps someone can find an example of this, but I doubt it.
The truth is, Rome has absolutely no respect for national governments and aggressively uses mass illegal immigration, migration, and refugee resettlement programs to destabilize nations and to set up them up to be swept into a system of world government headed by Rome.
The bishops of the USCCB certainly appear to be masters of the big lie.
….. Double-minded (as evidenced so clearly in the quotes above by their forked-tongues) and unstable in ALL their ways.
Exposing the lies and comparing against Scripture is the only way to combat the principalities and powers at work here.
Thx so much for exposing this lie Steve.
You’re welcome John. The USCCB is a treasonous brood of vipers and they need to be exposed as such.
