Two-faced Roman god Janus. A model for the USCCB.
One could hardly find a better word than Janus-faced, meaning duplicitous or two-faced, to describe the men who comprise the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). For these guys truly are masters of appearing to look in all directions at once, of seeming to be all things to all men, while at the same time never deviating from their evil plans.
In this case, I’m speaking about their evil goal of Romanizing America through illegal immigration.
So just how can I say this? Well, let’s look at a recent press release from these princes of sanctimonious nonsense. The June 4, 2019 press release from the USCCB reads, “Chairman of U.S. Bishops’ Committee On Migration Applauds House For Passing Lesiglation That Gives Permanent Legal Protection To Dreamers and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) Holders”
Now, apart from that being an absurdly long headline, what offends me about this piece is how it takes away with the left hand, what the USCCB has appeared to grant at other times with the right hand.
As regular readers of this blog are probably aware, I have written quite a lot over the past two years on a document called Strangers No Longer (SNL), a 2003 joint effort by the USCCB and their counterparts in Mexico. In that document, the bishops write,
Sovereign nations have the right to control their borders. The Church recognizes the right of sovereign nations to control their territories but rejects such control when it is exerted merely for he purpose of acquiring additional wealth. More powerful economic nations, which have the ability to protect and feed their residents, have a stronger obligation to accommodate migration flows.
Here we see both the right and left hand at work in a single short paragraph. If one reads the first sentence alone (it’s bolded in the original), he may conclude that the Roman Church-State really believes that nations have the right to control their borders.
But if you read on just a little past the first sentence, you’ll see the left hand quickly takes away what was granted by the right. Nations, we’re told by the bishops, have a right to control their borders, but that control has its limits. If a nation controls its borders merely for the purpose of acquiring wealth, well, then that right no longer applies.
Now just who do you suppose the bishops think should make the decision whether a nation has, or has not, the right to defend its borders at any given time? Well, the boys in black never quite come right out and say so, but in the context of the unctuous and hectoring SNL statement, very obviously the bishops have in mind themselves as well as their Antichrist boss in Rome.
I bring up the issue of SNL for the purpose of comparing it to the words of the USCCB in their 6/4/19 press release and all other immigration press releases put forth by that bunch. Just as the 6/4/19 press release cheerleads for a disastrous immigration bill, so too do all other press releases I’ve ever seen from the USCCB cheerlead for the destruction of the American nations through mass immigration, both legal and illegal. This author has never seen one single statement from the USCCB that defends, or even attempts to defend, the right of the American people not to be robbed blind by welfare migrant hordes.
One could fairly describe the USCCB’s stance on national borders thus: The USCCB believes in the right of nations to defend their borders from welfare migrant hordes, except in cases when it believes nations don’t have this right, which just happens to be always.
The onus is forever and always on the American people to fork it over, sit down and shut up, while the Janus-faced con artists of the USCCB parade around in public as if they were holy servants of God.
Those Jesuity Jesuits
Echoing their brethren in the USCCB, the Jesuity Jesuits at America Magazine gave me a good laugh this week. Writing on the same topic and the USCCB press release from 6/4, J. D Long-Garcia approvingly quoted one so-called DREAMERs saying, “T.P.S [Temporary Protected Status] recipients have been here as long as we have. The U.S. is finally recognizing a group of individuals that have always been second-class citizens.”
This is, of course, a ridiculous statement. For TPS recipients and so-called DREAMERs are not second-class citizens, they are not citizens at all, in any sense of the word.
Don’t you just marvel at the duplicitous language of the Jesuits? They plant the idea that DREAMERs and TPS recipients are citizens, but second-class citizens, who need the righteous Jesuits to ride to their rescue. Except these people aren’t citizens at all.
Now the Jesuits know all this. They are not stupid men. They are evil men. And they are liars, as is their father the devil.
