What you’re seeing is the party of rum, Romanism, and rebellion (RR&R) trying to make sure it doesn’t lose Civil War 2.0, which it started, the same way it lost Civil War 1.0, which it also started.
Civil War 1.0 was the Democrats versus the Republicans, and the Democrats, the party of RR&R, took a well-deserved beating. It’s something of a curiosity to me that, in all my reading on the American Civil War, I’ve never read it described as Republicans versus Democrats, but that’s what it was.
Here in 2022, we have Civil War 2.0, which once again features the Democrats versus the Republicans. At the present, there are no formal battles between opposing armies as there were in Civil War 1.0. But the part of RR&R has its street thugs in the form of Black Lives Matter and Antifa militants, who function as the brownshirts of the Democrats with free rein to terrorize whomever the Dems want terrorized. The main targets of these domestic terrorists are white, Christian, Republicans who are attacked, not only physical by these street thugs, but ideologically as well by schools, universities, businesses, the mainstream media, and the entertainment industry with Antichristian intellectual constructs such as feminism, transgenderism, and Critical Race Theory.
As has been said in this space before, Samuel D. Burchard was right in 1884 when he called the Democrats “the party whose antecedents have been the rum, Romanism, and rebellion,” and, if anything, he is more right today than he was then.
Consider, it was the Democrats who stole the 2020 presidential election which saw Roman Catholic Joe Biden unseat the nominally Protestant (Presbyterian) Donald Trump to become America’s second Roman Catholic president. It has been this same Biden regime that has relentlessly waged war against the “deplorables” since the day it took office, attacking Republicans as, domestic terrorists, white supremacists, science deniers, anti-maskers, anti-vaxers, racists, etc. The Democrats under Biden have attacked the First Amendment – as part of journalist Alex Berenson’s successful lawsuit against Twitter, it was revealed that the Biden regime had leaned on Twitter to kick him off Twitter for spreading Covid “misinformation” – the Second Amendment – they recently passed an assault weapons ban in the House that likely will not get through the Senate – and done everything in their power to force vaccinate Americans with an ineffective and deadly Covid “vaccine.” Even after study after study has shown masks to be ineffective and unsafe, the unscientific, anti-liberty, and tyrannical Democrats are still trying to force mask mandates on a public long sick and tired of them. The party of RR&R is fully on board with the Vatican/World Economic Forum/United Nations climate change agenda and has attacked America’s ability to produce cheap, domestic energy, the result of which has been record-high gasoline prices.
None of these assaults on political and economic liberty should come as any surprise to anyone who understands that the Democrats are, and have been for a long time, the political home of the Papal Antichrist in the United States of America. And thug, anti-liberty politics is Antichrist’s stock in trade.
Consider what author Terry Golway wrote in his recent book Machine Made: Tammany Hall and the Creation of Modern American Politics. Golway, who is clearly partial to the Roman Catholic, Democratic Tammy Hall political machine in New York, nevertheless lets the cat out of the bag as to the thug nature of this organization. He writes,
Tammany’s Irish leaders, flawed though so many were, helped create modern government and urban politics. They did so not simply by arranging for jobs, although jobs were needed, not simply by fixing elections, although the ballot was not sacrosanct, and not simply by appealing to voters’ worst instincts, although theatric demagoguery was a Tammany staple. They created a new politics by embracing the pluralism of the neighborhoods in which they lived, and by burying, once and for all, the transatlantic Anglo-American idea of how government ought to run.
Golway, Terry. Machine Made: Tammany Hall and the Creation of Modern American Politics. Liveright. Kindle Edition.
Golway seems to think that “modern government and urban politics” is something to be proud of. But John Robbins called the growth of government in the United States, “the greatest tragedy of the twentieth century.” And a look at the sorry state of America’s cities, starting with the home of Tammany Hall, New York City, shows just how disastrous the politics of Tammy Hall has been for this nation. The proof, as they say, is in the pudding.
Notice also how Golway celebrates the “burying, once and for all, the transatlantic Anglo-American idea of how government ought to run.” But it was the “transatlantic Anglo-American idea of how government ought to run” that brought us the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution to guarantee our God-given liberties. And it was the nation governed by these same Anglo-American [i.e. Biblical, Protestant] ideas of “how government ought to run” that welcomed, unwisely it would seem, the Irish of Tammany Hall to these shores. And to what end? So they could undermine our “idea of how government ought to work”? So they could bring us the thug politics of Tammany Hall, or of the labor movement, or of the modern Democratic party dedicated to the dispossession and destruction of America’s historic core population of white Protestants?

Our forefathers in the 19th century tried to warn us about the danger of admitting large numbers of Roman Catholic immigrants into America. But their warnings went largely unheeded. And today they are demonized in the popular press as bigots, nativists, and xenophobes.
But they were right to warn Americans of the dangers of importing Roman Catholicism. Samuel F. B. Morse, the famous inventor of the telegraph, wrote an entire book on the threat posed by Roman Catholicism titled Foreign Conspiracy Against the Liberties of the United States.
Morse wrote about the naiveite and laziness of the Protestants of his day in failing to recognize the threat of Rome.
You have a busy, a crafty, a powerful, a dangerous set of foreign leaders, controlling and commanding a foreign population, ignorant and infatuated, intermixed with your own population, and who at a single signal from the Pope or Metternich, when the cause of despotism shall require the deed, can spread disorder and riot through all your borders.
Samuel F.B. Morse, Foreign Conspiracy Against the Liberties of the United States, 1835, p.185
And what do we have today in the Year of Our Lord 2022 but disorder and riot through all our borders?
And how did this state of affairs come to be? Protestant indifference it would seem. Morse continues,
And this power [of the Roman Church-State] is daily increasing, not merely by foreign immigration, and foreign money, but, with the deepest shame be it spoken, by the assistance, direct and indirect, of Protestant Republican American’s, who, wit ha facility most marvellous, fall into every and pleasant baited trap that Popery spreads for them.
Ibid. 186.
In another place, Morse laments,
They [Catholic emissaries] acknowledge their unsuspicious reception by the people of the United States; they acknowledge that Protestants in all parts of the country have even aided them with money to build their chapels and colleges and nunneries, and treated them with liberality and hospitality, and – strange infatuation!! – have been so monstrously foolish as to intrust their children to them to be educated! So infatuated as to confide in their honor and in their promises that they would use no attempts to proselyte them!
Ibid. 77.
In his essay “Why Heretics Win Battles,” John Robbins points out that Christians, “tend to be slow to recognize error and even slower to take the actions necessary to defend the truth. They lack both discernment and courage.”
This tendency toward lack of discernment and lack of courage was present in our 19th forefathers. And this tendency, if anything, is even more pronounced in our own day as it was when Morse wrote his book in 1835.
This is to our shame. If Christians are to have any chance of preserving liberty in the 21st century, they must pray to God, who gives to all men liberally and without reproach as James tells us, both for the wisdom and discernment to recognize the designs of Antichrist in the policies and actions of the Democrats – the party whose antecedents have been RR&R – and for the courage to confront and defeat them and their thug brand of politics.
They can be beaten. For, as Luther noted five hundred years ago, we have the right Man on our side.

Like part of the Jesuit blood oath states”…You have been taught to insidiously plant the seeds of jealousy and hatred between communities, provinces,
states that were at peace, and incite them to deeds of blood, involving them in war with each other, and to
create revolutions and civil wars in countries that were independent and prosperous, cultivating the arts and
the sciences and enjoying the blessings of peace. To take sides with the combatants and to act secretly with
your brother Jesuit, who might be engaged on the other side, but openly opposed to that with which you
might be connected, only that the Church might be the gainer in the end, in the conditions fixed in the treaties
for peace and that the end justifies the means.”
They are fomenting civil war the Right vs Left, also called Jesuit theater, hoping patriots will take the bait and cause violence, all to help the Mother (of harlots) church. Praying people would not fall for their anti-christ tactics.
