In Proverbs 17:15 we read, “He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.” The mass, forced application of lockdowns, mask requirements, and threats of forced testing, forced vaccinations and vaccine passports are all examples of justifying the wicked (the sick) and condemning the just (the healthy). Those who propose or actually carryout such tyrannical practices are an abomination to the Lord and will have to answer for their sins before the judgment seat of Christ.
If you doubt that there are many prominent people in America who are perfectly comfortable with Covid tyranny, consider the following quotes:
- “Let me put it very clearly, you have no constitutional right to endanger the public and spread disease, even if you disagree. You have no right not to be vaccinated, you have no right to open up your business…And if you refuse to be vaccinated, the state has the power to literally take you to a doctor’s office and plunge a needle into your arm” (Alan Dershowitz, retired Harvard law professor).
- “That’s one of the reasons we initiated these [Covid vaccination] strike forces to go into communities and work with them to determine where there’s lower vaccination rates” (White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, July 6, 2021).
- “It needs to be hard for people to remain unvaccinated. Right now, it’s kind of the opposite…But at some point these mandates, by workplaces, by schools, I think it will be important to say, ‘Hey, you can opt out, but if you want to opt out, you have to sign these forms, you have to get twice weekly testing. Basically, we need to make getting vaccinated the easy choice” (Dr. Leana Wen, the former President of Planned Parenthood believes that women have a right to choose to murder their children, but do not have a right to refuse medical treatments without being penalized by the state).
- “I do think it’s time to start mandating vaccines. And I think that the private industry and private organizations will do that. At GW(George Washington) university, where I work, starting in fall, you can’t be on campus unless you’re fully vaccinated. We’re at the part of the pandemic now where the problem in this country is that 150 million American are not vaccinated. That choice has consequences. Now, we can’t force you to take a jab in the arm. But there are many jobs, perhaps, that can prevent you from working if you decide not to get vaccinated. So I think we need to be more proactive, and we will see industry take the lead in this” (CNN Medical Analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner).
- “It is absolutely the government’s business [to know who is vaccinated]” (Xavier Becerra, Health and Human Services Secretary).
- “If in fact you are unvaccinated, you present a problem to yourself, to our family and those with whom you work” (Joe Biden, announcement new vaccine rules for federal workers).
- “Here is the thing about [vaccine] mandates, we have given them lottery tickets, we have given people incentives all over the place, football tickets, Krispy Kremes. In West Virginia, they offered to give them a gun…So bribery didn’t work. So the next step might be what we look at as threats. You will not be able to go to a restaurant unless you are vaccinated. You will not be able to go into a museum. You are not going to be able to go into the theater” (Joy Behar, cohost of “The View”).
- I have been of this opinion, and I remain of that opinion, that I do believe at the local level, Jake, there should be more [vaccine] mandates (Jesuit trained Dr. Anthony Fauci).
I could go on, but I think the reader gets the point that there are many prominent people willing to go on public record with calls for tyranny in the name of fighting Covid.
In her rant, Joy Behar argued, “By the way, one more small thing. Why is their [the unvaccinated] freedom more important than my freedom to not get sick? I don’t understand that idea that I am taking way their freedom. They ae basically taking my freedom away by not getting vaccinated. Can I get an amen on that?”
A few thoughts on this line of argument are warranted, as it is very common to hear such statements in one form or another from the Covid tyrants. First, Behar’s argument violates the Scriptural principles that you don’t quarantine healthy people, you don’t force them to take tests and, for that matter, you don’t force treatments upon them. Just as it is a Biblical principle that you are innocent until proven guilty, so too are people presumed healthy unless shown to be otherwise.
Second, no one has a “freedom to not get sick.” We’ve all gotten sick at one time or another with colds, flues, etc. Has anyone every argued that they have a right not to get a cold or that their civil rights have been violated if they catch a fever? Perhaps someone has argued this way, but I don’t ever recall hearing such a thing. Covid is eminently survivable, and those at risk of serious illness, principally those who are older, can take reasonable precautions if they choose to. Life in this sinful, fallen world is full of danger. But there is a strain of thought that says if only we have enough regulations and mandates in place, we can eliminate all that. Those who think this way fail to understand the state of the world as revealed in Scripture and seek to perfect the imperfectible by imposing liberty destroying mandates.
Third, I wonder if Behar and other like her know how much they sound like they’re advocating for a “mark of the beast.” Now to be clear, I’m not arguing here that the Covid vaccine is the mark of the beast, but the threat of Covid vaccine mandates certainly is of that same spirit. “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:15, 16).
Clearly, this passage describes a system of economic and legal oppression against those who refuse to take upon themselves the symbol of a satanic, ungodly government. It’s interesting to me that Behar did not add to her list jobs, grocery stores, and doctors. She threatened with banning people from museums, theaters, and restaurants. Maybe if she had said you can’t hold a job, buy food, or seek medical help, her tyrannical ideas would have become too obvious. But the same logic that says you can’t go to a restaurant due to posing a public health hazard logically can be applied to your ability to shop for food.
This is a good rule of thumb: If you find yourself arguing for policies that sound a lot like the beast system of Revelation 13, you really need to go back and check your thinking to find out where you went wrong.
Fourth, tyranny kills. The Covid cultists are so worried about the virus that they forget about the danger to life that comes from tyrannical government. I have a book on my shelf with the cheery title Death by Government written by R.J. Rummel, who at the time was a professor of political science at the University of Hawaii. Rummel used the term “democide” to describe the mass murders carried out by various governments, and noted, “The more power a government has, the more it can act arbitrarily according to the whims and desires of the elite, and the more it will make war on others and murder its foreign and domestic subjects” (1-2). To give you a sense of the democides that have taken place, Rummel titled his first chapter “169,198,000 Murdered Summary and Conclusion.”
It just may be that arbitrary government power is a far greater threat to life and liberty than any virus ever could be.
A Christian Response to the Covid Tyrants
Perhaps the first thing Christians need to remember when faced with the clear and present danger of Covid tyranny is that God is still God. “I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”
To paraphrase Luther, the Covid tyrants are God’s Covid tyrants, and they serve God’s purposes. God is sovereign, and nothing happens apart from his will. This includes the stolen presidential election of 2020 which put Covid tyrant Joe Biden in office, the rise of Jesuit trained Dr. Anthony Fauci to his prominent role in the Covid tyranny, and the control exercised by leftists and authoritarians in academia, the entertainment industry, government, schools, and universities.
So what are God’s purposes in bringing about this worldwide Covid tyranny? Note well, I said, not merely that he has permitted the Covid tyranny, but that he has brought it about. Although we don’t have a prophet here is tell us all God’s purposes, we do have the full revelation of God in the 66 Books of the Bible and can apply the principles we find there to our own situation.
One very common theme is Scripture is God’s punishing nations for their sin and unbelief. This included his very own people Israel. Throughout Judges, we see the cycle of backsliding, falling under oppression from foreign nations, repentance, and God’s deliverance. Israel would have peace for a time, only to fall once again into sin and would go through the cycle all over.
American was a nation conceived in liberty by Christians, but over time the salt has lost its savor. Just look at the Presbyterians. Sometimes the American Revolution has been called the Presbyterian Rebellion because so many of the prominent men associated with it were Presbyterians. In 1776, American Presbyterians were faithful to the Word of God. But that all started to change in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The liberal unbelievers took over the Mainline Presbyterian church, which is now become a synagogue of Satan. Not only was this a calamity for Presbyterians, but it was a calamity for the whole American nation. It is, in my opinion, no coincidence that the loss of liberty in America happened at the same time the Presbyterian churches started to fall away from the faith.
God punishes backslidden nations. Can anyone argue that this does not describe American in the Year of Our Lord 2021? Speaking through Isaiah, the Lord said of Judah, “Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fie: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.” I have no doubt that this Covid tyranny is in part God’s punishment on the American people for their unbelief. And all the more so, because this nation was founded by Christians on Christian principles.
A third point is that God proves his people. Even, and perhaps especially, believers are can find themselves on the receiving end of God’s chastisement. In Hebrews 12 we read that God deals with his people the way a good father deals with his sons who go astray, he chastises them. Perhaps those of us who are believers have become a bit complacent and trust too much in our own strength. Perhaps we have spent too much time trying to forge alliances with unbelievers and not enough time considering that it is God alone who delivers his people.
When I see all the ecumenical activity that is carried out by Protestants, some of whom may be genuine believers, with unbelievers in the name of some good cause, I ask myself, will the Lord let this stand? Surely not!
Just think about all the apostacy that has gone on in the pro-life movement, where Protestants have joined forces with what the Westminster Confession calls “infidels, papists, and other idolaters.” Back in 2004, Pastor Ralph Ovadal wrote quite a good book on this subject called More than These, which you can read online for free. I highly recommend this book, as it is an unflinching account of apostacy among professed, Bible-believing Protestants who think that it’s somehow okay to pursue Christian ministry with unbelievers and with those who hate the Lord.
Will the Lord Jesus allow his church to go astray with ecumenism and not disciple his people? Never! Perhaps this Covid tyranny is a call by God to his people for them to trust in him alone and not in their own cleverness and strength.
“I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Thus wrote the Isaiah to encourage the Lord’s people to look to God and to nothing and no one else for knowledge, for courage and for deliverance. May the prophet’s words be our cry in this time of testing.

Steve, we are definitely in a Medical Inquisition; and when one looks at the folks behind all the pandemonium, the Jesuits are key players – both in Health and Politics. It is obvious when it comes to religious leaders endorsing the vaccine, etc. Take the risk of dying from COVID or serious side effects from the vaccines. Now they are claiming that unvaccinated folks are spreading the Delta variant; yet some 74% of fully vaccinated folks caught COVID and were potential spreaders of the disease (according to the CDC).This tactic is just a way to get folks to take the jab (vaccine) and to try and implement more lock downs. The contradictions from the Government and Health officials are endless. Although some officials are sincere in their efforts to stop COVID; their ignorance and or denial of the Church & State issues at hand is just feeding the Jesuits and their agenda with Francis.
Good points all. As you probably know, Berean Beacon has done a good job covering the Jesuit angle. So has Chris Pinto on his Noise of Thunder podcast. Here’s a link to his latest episode https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/noise-of-thunder-radio-show/id997551565?i=1000530545271
Thanks Steve, May God grant us the strength and hedge to continue exposing the works of this modern day Inquisition and to proclaim His Saving Grace to His Elect – refuting the ecumenism of free will which really seems to be the core of uniting Christendom and the World.
