George Floyd, International Phenomenon
Does anyone else find it odd that the death of George Floyd has become an international sensation. Over the past few days, I’ve seen pictures of protests in Great Britain, France, Germany and Australia. I have a hard time seeing why anyone in Sydney or Paris would care one iota about George Floyd or the arrest procedures of the Minneapolis Police Department.
Odd isn’t it. We’re still in the process of opening up after the globalists managed simultaneously to shut down pretty much the entire planet with the coronavirus hoax. Now we have international demonstrations for convicted felon no one had ever heard of as recently as two weeks ago.
Is all this spontaneous, or is there coordination going on behind the scenes? If so, by whom?
Everybody Knows Derek Chauvin is a Murderer
Everybody in the entire country seems to know that officer Derek Chauvin, he’s the officer seen kneeing on George Floyd’s neck, is a murderer. For example, top Trump aid Kellyanne Conway in an interview last week said that George Floyd, “was murdered in plain sight.”
Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was quoted as saying that the four police officers involved in the arrest of Floyd “look pretty darn guilty.” Other Republicans and conservatives have made similar statements.
For my part, I don’t know if George Floyd was murdered or not. Further, I’d prefer not to speculate on whether they are guilt. No thanks to our Marxist friends at Black Lives Matter and Antifa, a man still has the right to a trial before a jury of his peers in this country. This includes officer Chauvin and his three colleagues.
Beyond that, as I noted in my post last week, video of the events earlier in the arrest of Floyd show that he resisted arrest and appeared to resist the officers when they tried to place him in the back seat of their cruiser. Had Floyd done what the officers legitimately asked him to do, he would be alive today. Most people seem to overlook this basic fact.
I am open to hearing arguments for why the police are, in fact, guilty of murder. Maybe they are. But from what I’ve seen, I doubt it.
Everything in the videos appears to support the idea that the officers did not deliberately set out to kill Floyd. Chauvin was well aware that eh was being recorded on video. He probably had a body camera. He didn’t act like a man who thought he was doing anything wrong. That in itself does not clear him of wrongdoing. Maybe he and his colleagues could have handled things differently and better. I don’t know. I’m not a police officer. I do know this, the technique Chauvin used to hold Floyd, called neck restraint, was, until last week, a permitted technique on the Minneapolis police force.
I, for one, do not know that Derek Chauvin is a murderer. It would be a good thing if the TV talking heads, many of whom have no more knowledge than I do, show a little restraint before condemning a man.
Black Lives Matter is an Evil, Marxist Organization
It is absolutely astounding to this author the level of respect polite members of society give to Black Lives Matter (BLM). BLM is an extraordinarily evil organization as can be seen simply by skimming their 22 page brochure. Among the evil ideas BLM promotes in their brochure titled “A Vision For Black Lives: Policy Demands [n.b. not requests, not discussion points, but demands] For Black Power, Freedom, & Justice” are:
- Collectivism
- Sodomy
- Ending criminal justice
- Theft through reparations
- Mass welfare immigration
- Theft through universal healthcare
- Abortion
- Ending private education
The group (of course!) also calls for ending patriarchy, which it connects, correctly in this case, with capitalism. Smash the patriarchy; smash liberty, both economic and political. BLM hates both patriarchy and capitalism for the same reason: they hate God.
Reparations
One of the most dangerous and evil ideas being floated about is one of the items mentions in the above section on BLM. I’m speaking here of reparations.
Last week Fox business gave several minutes of airtime to Robert L. Johnson, the founder of Black Entertainment Televisions (BET), who proceeded to argue his case for a $14 trillion reparations package for black Americans.
This is not the first time, reparations have been floated. The Democrats were talking about this back during the primary debates. Of course, if we have reparations for blacks, what about other groups that feel aggrieved. Elizabeth Warren promoted reparations for homosexual couples who weren’t allowed to claim the marriage deduction on their taxes in the years prior to legalization of gay “marriage.” She also talked about reparations for American Indians.
But why stop there. Women, so the feminists tell us, have been oppressed since the dawn of time. Blacks only had to suffer slavery some 200 years in America, but women have been in bondage for millennia. Maybe they should get $28 trillion.
One could go on and imagine every possible group at war with every other group, duking it out for who will get the biggest portion of the reparations pie.
The only people left out in the scenario is, you guessed it, heterosexual white men, who, as all right-thinking people know, are the worst people every to exist in the entire history of world. Pay they must.
In all seriousness, reparations are another race hustle. They represent theft from the innocent by those who were never victims. Robert Johnson is an amazing con-artist and his ideas, if put into practice, would result in more interracial hostility than has probably every been seen in this country.
On Your Feet, Officers!
“Austin police officers took a knee on Saturday in an act of solidarity with people protesting against police brutality,” noted the article on the website of Austin TV station KXAN. On your feet, officers! Your job is to ensure law and order are respected, not show solidarity with political protesters. Even ones that are actual protesters and not rioters.
Antichrist Weighs In
Pope Francis weighed in last week condemning the death of George Floyd and noted that he himself if praying for Floyd. Of course, Christians do not pray for the dead, which is one way we know that Jorge Bergoglio is not a Christian. He is, in fact, the current occupant of the office of Antichrist and is using his office and the occasion of Floyd’s death to advance the interests of the Woman Who Rides the Beast.
Given the exceedingly great spiritual and sexual fornication of the Vatican, it is a remarkable thing that anyone takes the moral pronouncements of the Pope and the Roman Church-State seriously.
Everyone Knows the Cops are Racist
It’s astonishing how everyone just assumes that the arrest of George Floyd somehow proves that the arresting officers were racist. It proves nothing of the sort. Yes, George Floyd died while being arrested by four Minneapolis police officers. There is nothing in the video that indicates race had anything to do with it. Yet the default assumption when an arrest with a white officer and a black suspect results in the injury or death, that cause is racism on the part of the arresting officer.
There are any number reasons why a suspect may die in the course of an arrest, racism is only one of them.
Worth noting, recent studies have undercut the notion that there is systemic bias among American police departments in the way suspects are treated by race. The Wall Street Journal notes that, “A 1015 Justice Department analysis of the Philadelphia Police Department found that while police officers were less likely than black or Hispanic officers to shoot unarmed black suspects.
A 2016 study by Harvard economist Roland Fryer found, much to the surprise and even dismay of many, that the police are not racially biased in how they use lethal force.
Out of Control Black Violent Crime
The elephant in the room that almost no one wants to talk about is the extraordinary amount of violent crime committed by blacks. There are serious people who actually try to explain the gap by arguing that the reason for the crime disparity between whites and blacks is that racist police departments patrol black neighborhoods more than they do while neighborhoods. If while neighborhoods had as many cops on the beat as black neighborhoods, the crime rates would be the same.
This is an absurd argument that requires one believe police departments are so racist, even ones with black police chiefs, they deliberately send more officers into black neighborhoods just to catch more blacks in the act of committing a crime.
The correct explanation of the statistics showing blacks commit high rates of violent crime is that blacks, in fact, commit violent commit crimes at an extraordinarily high rate compared to all other groups. This explanation is simply not permitted in the mainstream press.
Out of Control Black on White Crime
Although the media tries to sell the public on the idea that the U.S. is full of roving white gangs and white cops just ready to unleash massive violence on blacks, the opposite is the case. In truth, there is an extraordinary amount of black on white violence. But while the media sensationalizes the relatively few cases of white on black violence, it completely ignores black on white violence, which doesn’t serve the press’s master narrative.
For example, we hear no end to the reporting on the case of George Floyd, you probably never heard about the brutal beating of a man near Target Field in Minneapolis last August. The beating was captured on security camera video which you can see here. Warning, it’s a disturbing video. Assaults by blacks on whites of this sort are actually fairly common, but you wouldn’t know it from the silence in the mainstream media. These sorts of beating rarely make it out of local news to the national level.
To lend some statistical support to this, the Bureau of Justice Statistics used to publish what was known as Table 42 that reflects victim reports of the perpetrator by race. For example, in 2008, the last year Table 42 was available, 16.4 percent of white rape victims reported a black suspect. This works out to about 19,000 black on white rapes. One the other hand, the number of white on black rapes was reported as 0 percent. Mind you, this is a yearly national statistic.
Worth noting, Table 42 ceased to be published beginning in 2009, the first year of the Obama administration. Americans are being deliberately kept in the dark by their own government concerning the truth of interracial crime.
Defund the Police
Several big city mayors such as New York’s Bill de Blasio and L.A.’s Eric Garcetti have promised to significantly defund their police departments.
According to the Scriptures, one of the few legitimate activities of the civil magistrate is to punish evil doers. Yet these mayors want to defund police departments. As The Hill reports, Mayor de Blasio wants to take funding from the police and redirect it to youth and social services.
If you happen to be a law-abiding citizen who is unfortunate enough to live in one of these cities, my best advice is to find a new place to live ASAP.
On a side note, there’s an extraordinary video out there of the Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis being shame walked out of an open air public meeting because he wouldn’t commit to defunding the Minneapolis police. I wonder whom these people think their going to call the next time some thug decides to break into their house or threatens conk them on the head. Good luck with that, folks.
Closing Thoughts
Okay, so I promised I wouldn’t give your all nineteen points I jotted down yesterday, and I’ve kept my word. I gave you eleven. There’s more that I could write about. For example, the cult of anti-racism that has taken over significant parts of country. But perhaps we can come back to that some other day.
Unlike what most people think, the job of the mainstream media is to misinform the American public on every issue imaginable. We are lied to about the financial condition of our country, we are lied to about matters of public health such as the COVID19 outbreak, and we are lied to on matters of race. The result, is that most Americans go about with a false view of reality shaped by deliberately misleading news reports.
The truth, or at least much more accurate opinion, is out there. But you have to dig a bit to get it. Watching and reading the mainstream media will leave you hopelessly confused and with a point of view nearly 180 degrees off from reality.
As Christians we believe that there is only one source of truth, the 66 books of the Bible. At all times, but perhaps especially in difficult times such as these, it is imperative for Christians to turn to the one source of truth we have, the inspired and infallible Scriptures, for knowledge, wisdom and comfort.
This was not an especially easy or enjoyable post to write. The truth is, I’d rather not have to write it at all. But as a Christian, I cannot in good conscience pretend not to see what I very clearly see, an enormous effort on the part of the elite organs of society – politics, academe, business, the arts – to present a false picture of reality to the American people and then use that lie to demand actions that, far from making the country better, will succeed in making it poorer, more unjust and less free. May the Lord have mercy on the American people to open their eyes before it’s too late.
